 Our installation professionals will:

• Mount and secure your flat-panel TV.
• Connect the TV power cord to an existing AC power outlet.
• Attach and conceal cables from the flat-panel TV to a tuner, A/V source, component, or cable connection.
• Ensure all wall-fished cable exit points are finished off with either a wall bushing or specialized wall plate
• Integrate components.
• Connect TV converter boxes.
• Drill access holes as needed for wiring within cabinets.
• Set up your speakers, receiver and/or subwoofer for up to 7.1-channel surround sound.
• Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working
• Program the basic functions of your factory-supplied remote control.

Athens Audio Visuals will bid speaker installation on a case by case basis. 

As a general rule our hourly install rates are $60 per hour. 

 It is important to consider the effects that the room itself will have on the sound of your speakers. Carpet, heavy drapes, and plush couches will absorb the sound (especially at high frequencies).  Rooms with hardwood floors and lots of glass windows will have an opposite effect. In addition to the usual desirable specifications - like low distortion, good power handling ability, and high efficiency; the In-Wall and In-Ceiling speakers have two additional characteristics to be considered room friendly.

· Smooth, uniform response on axis (directly in front)

· Constant directivity, which is defined as consistent, relatively flat response off axis.

These attributes are important because of the way sound reflects off hard surfaces before it reaches the ear. In addition to the sidewall reflection, there will be a reflection from the floor as well as the ceiling. Sound waves reflect off of many surfaces before reaching the listener that may “muddy” the sound coming from the main speaker. Unwanted reflection can be eliminated in one of two ways: it can be absorbed with acoustic panels, fabric wallpaper, drapes or furniture, or diffused with irregular surfaced (e.g. bookshelves, furniture, etc.)

Athens Audio Visuals will mount your home theater projector to a suitable wall or ceiling (or on a floor stand, as desired); connect it to a tuner or A/V source; connect all of your audio and video components; and hook up your surround sound system, all with neatly dressed, exposed wires.

Our installation professionals will:

• Mount and secure your LCD or DLP projector.
• Connect the projector power cord to an existing AC power outlet (by surface mounting only)
• Attach cables from the projector to a tuner, A/V source component, or cable connection.
• Integrate components.
• Drill access holes as needed for wiring within cabinets
• Set up your speakers, receiver and/or subwoofer for a 5.1- or 7.1-channel surround sound system
• Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working
• Program the basic functions of your factory-supplied remote control.
• Ensure that all remaining cables are neatly dressed, using wire ties as needed
• Clean up work area and dispose of boxes, packaging materials and installation debris
• Customer Tutorial.
• Approximate time: 4.5 hrs.

Athens Audio Visuals will set up your new computer and transfer all files from your old one.

When setting up your computer, we will:

• Physically set up one PC or Mac system, including the computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers
• Organize wires and cables with cable ties.
• Install all software applications.
• Install peripheral or external devices.
• Configure your new computer to access your existing Internet account and e-mail.
• Test your computer to make sure it is functioning properly
• Note: Computer recycling is FREE with your purchase of this service. At the time of your service appointment, we'll remove and properly dispose of the computer you designate, at no charge to you.

When performing a one-time data backup or transfer, we will:

• Back up or transfer your computer data to another medium.

• Import the data into an installed program or location.

Note:  Applications cannot be transferred. Excludes nontransferable applications and programs. Data backup/transfer service excludes recovering any lost data.

Athens Audio Visuals will allow you to share Internet access, printers and files from anywhere in your home or office, and enjoy fast and easy multitasking with a safe, secure wireless network.
